I am an avid reader and occasionally I find a book that will not let me put it down. This in fact was the case with your book E-Force. I started the book as soon as it was downloaded to my nook and was still reading when the sun came up. I am anxiously awaiting your next book.
Joy Varner
Classmate of your Mom from MGH
Thank you for reading E-Force, Ms. Varner! I’m so glad you enjoyed the story. And I truly appreciate your kind words.
I’m slowly working on the next book, which is a sequel to E-Force. As with most people, my life is too busy. There are so many commitments raising kids…and that real job just gets in the way of everything.
If I can ultimately turn writing into a full-time career, I’ll certainly step up the pace. That’s the goal anyway.
In any case, I’m grateful for your note. Such feedback inspires me to believe that I can succeed as an author. It truly is about the readers.
I sent you comments before about how I read E-Force and, like the comment above, couldn’t put it down. I await your next adventure for Colt Kelley. I am the father of 4, two boys and two girls, and now the grandfather of 17. I grew up in Rifle but now live in Fort Worth, Texas although we still own the Rusty Cannon Motel in Rifle. Because of an experience I had 45 years ago, I still hope to point others in the same direction. I was raised a Church goer, we were there every Sunday, at CSU where I graduated, I attended church on Sunday and after marriage to my college sweetheart, I attended church. One big problem, my life during the other six days in the week didn’t reflect a person who would call themselves a Christian. I knew the sin in my life kept me from the God with whom I had to do. Three years into marriage and 2 sons later, I crept into my bathroom late one night, locked the door, and got on my knees before God. I confessed that for 27 years I had done things my way and now, I wanted to give myself to following Him. Christ paid the penalty for my sin by His death which was proved up by His resurrection. He accepted my repentance and began to transform my life from selfish pursuit to aiming to know and follow Him. He removed about 50 percent of my vocabulary, gave me patience, gave me a hunger for what the Bible could teach me about Him, gave me insight and discernment for instructing my family. He has given me purpose for existence and the hope that I will finish well. (I’m 72) All of this to say, if you don’t know about Him…..read any of the four Gospels and He will disclose himself to you if you are willing.
Respectfully,
Bob Cross
